post OBS + CNY
hihi! Bet everyone missed me. I noe it's super over already, but I'm back from OBS. xD Oops, I know the mood jus isnt there. Haha.
OBS was okayyy. I din exactly love it, din exactly hate it. Missed it when I came back to school tho. Now no more. Haha. One thing is my ugly and disfigured legs. ALL SAND FLIES BITES. y hands and my legs! ARGH!!! So ugly! SOBS. x( And I totally agree that it brought out the best and worst of people during the times. Kayaking was some experiece. Yiusum was a nice parter! We sang co songs! So fun! We asked other ppl like qw and jiahui to sing along too. And we cheered each other on. HAHA. Peiqi and shihui's songs were damn funny! The way they sang it. o.0 And she keeps calling me vietnamese girl. xp DO I SERIOUSLY LOOK LIKE VIETNAMESE???
Now, on to more up-to-date stuff. HAPPY CNY! Though it's the third day already but nvm. Hope everyone gets lotsa ang paos already. xD
CNY celebration in school.
Didn't get to watch the items. The perf was not bad la. Wls was smiling all the way through conducting. Maybe we played good? HAHA. Yay thanks to the 305ers who cheered! I could hear my name! And blur yiusum didn't catch anything. x_x Dorcas has lots of supporters. Can hear her name lots of time.
After CNY, went out with crys and hwee. In the end NICE CRYS AND ME decided to give in to hwee to watch memoirs of geisha. Aww so nice right. HAHA. And guess wad. I think that day I'm damn unlucky la. I was trying to smuggle coke into the cinema, so I put it in my bag. Then when i reached the cinema, met xiao di and hong ye who waved at me in the dark, so I forogt all abt my coke. I just plonked down on my seat with my bag in a lying down position. So after a whie, naturally I felt the wet coke spill out into my bag. Well the rest u needn't noe. Throughout the whole movie, I was just very preoccupied with my coke-filled bag.
After movie, mean hwee bade us goodbye so fast. and crys dragged me all the way to cine. To eat the cakes we bought from breadtalk from ps and drink bubbletea. Then we walked around a bit. She bought lots of things. HAHA, ok nt alot. But I didn't buy anything.
Went home quite early. Wanted to watch the first episode of wang zi bian qing wa (DANG OUUU! XD), but then it's in rm format, and i dun have real player!! GAHHH!!
Anyway class comm has been decided. Me and yiusum are inter hse for welfare! HAHA. Jinghan and Cheryl are both vices! Ame is secretary! HONEY. Oh yeah speaking of that, we have this weird name-calling system. Ame's my honey. YS is my qin ai de darling (so long right!). Weiting is my deardear. YC supposed to be my sweetheart, but Ame's her sweetheart already. Oops i think it's quite confusing huh. HAHA.
Ok I am supposed to have lots of stuff to talk about, but I'm having writer's block now. Shall blog more when i remember all. x)

Whee. My yangqin is fixed. YAY!
Yesterday, Huang lao shi came to my house to tune my yangqin. He's quite nice. (: He said it was very rusty. Haha. So he had to sand the strings. But it's still rusty. He even gave me some sand paper. So nice. See my yangqin so lan pok one! Then he fixed some broken strings at the top. Then tune. Now it sounds nice. =D And he replaced the rubber of the stick too for free. And the sound is so much nicer also. Haha, coz now got jiao1 bu4 below the rubber. xD
Yup. Today had xiaozu. Uhh was quite uneventful. Wls didn't come. We jus praced on our own. And I am so proud of myself. I broke my record of tuning yqs. I used to take ages and ages (like hours) to tune one whole yq. Now I took only half an hour! HAHA. All time record! xD And all the strings were like down by one note. G = F. F = E. I feel so accomplished!

happy hari raya haji! =D
Holiday today! yayy. But still mus do homework. Haha.. One day isnt enough! Gimme 365 days!! HAHA..
Monday went out with hwee and sam to have lunch. Crys cant come coz she has cca. Aww. It was raining and sam was the only one with an umbrella so the three of us had to share? Haha. In the end hwee spontaneously let me and sam have the umbrella while she sped in the speed of light to the bus stop. Haha. But then later she got to have the umbrella with sam. Anyway, we all still got wet. A little.
Ate pastamania. So long already. But we forgot to ask for the card. x_x
Then we went more than words and hwee got her hp keychain! Haha. Finally. And she took a real long time too. White or black? Heart or flower? Haha. In the end she took my opinion! HAHAHA. Thank you thank you. I am SO honoured. xD
Sighh. Hope school will take a better turn to the happier side. :/

First YQ lesson
Went for my first YQ lessons with Qu lao shi at around 6pm. She's nice. =D We were late coz we couldn't find the house then it was raining cats and dogs. Haha.
Was greeting by the sound of dog barkings. She has a dog! It's cute. But at first when she open the door it pounced at me and started licking my hands and scratching my jeans like wanting me to play with it. So cute.
In the hall there's this mini yq which looks like a real yq. It's actually the type of yq from Russia. Cool.
Went in the room then started lessons. In the room there was this miniature yq figure. So cute! Then got other types of yq too. Wow. Anyway, started with lian xi qus. I think I was very nervous. She keep asking me to relax. Haha.
Before I was always doubtful of my standards. Now I know where I stand but I'm still doubtful. ><
Lessons ended and I was v tired. Dad actually bought my whole yq there to ask if it's still in condition to use. Frankly I don't really want to use it. Haha. So old and rusted. xp

It's the weekend since school started. So far it hasn't been very pleasant for me... Sad to say. Now know more people in 305 but not that good friends tho. Then if I'm lonely I get crabby and moody which doesn't help in making friends. >.<
Hope OBS will change that. xD
Anyway, today after school went out to have lunch with hwee and crys at lido. Then later, hwee and I went to wheelock place to look at the photos and pics exhibition for some geog assignment. I think it's so much nicer seeing the big picture. And the descriptions too.
There was this camera-like black coloured thing hanging from the picture and I though it was a camera "guarding" the picture, but hwee cleverly pointed out that it's a lamp to shine light at the photos at night. x_X
Then we went to borders for a while to look at notebooks and stuff. We made a deal that she go home with me if I go borders with her. HAHA.
Went popular on the way at orchart mrt and saw some of the A4 books that can be used for bio log book. I don't understand why they must use a book. So weird.
Got home. Feel super tired. Yawns.

1st day of school 2006
Today's the first day of school 2006 in a new class with new people. Class 305'06. Register no. 31. Haha.
Hmm. What can I say. The first day isn't as bad as I thought, but I still feel a little awkward and alone in class. Can't be helped lah. First day. In class, sat with Hongye and Yiusum, Jinghan and Yanting in front. I didn't really noe Yanting. She seems nice from the short interactions we had.
Icebreakers in class. I won't say they're very effective, but it's at least something fun to do with the class. Met new people, but we jus intoduced and.. well, yeahh. Still a little stranger to me. Hope tmr will be better.
Anyway, after school hung out with Crys, Hwee, Jas, Val and YiQing. Val was stuck at the bus stop while the rest of us squeezed our way through. Poor thing. Haha, we still met up later. Instead of Pastamania, we decided on Jacks. Haha. Thanks to me. xD Actually I lose the round of deciding (aka scissors paper stone -__-).
Had a super fun time. We were chatting and laughing non stop and v loud too. Oops. Got scandals too! (hint hint) Hahaha. Yay so good to be back to old times.

The new year is here. It's 1 Jan 2006 officially. Aw, gonna miss year 2005. This year brings v big changes and new stuff. Like new class with many many many new ppl.
Next year's class = 305'06. No 201nians are inside. So suay. So sad. x( Got yiusum. =) And other co ppl. Haha. Hopefully I'll pull tru without being too lonely.
Aww I'll miss FK4 lots. All the hangouts and fun times. Can't believe 2 yrs r gone in a flash. Tofu crys. Froggie hwee. and Ham sam.

Had sherry n jiali talk. It was quite funny. Lasted about an hour. Then had 3 hrs of xiaozu. Lunch in canteen then dazu. After that, the awaited hui bao. Didn't get to play after all. After hours of squirming and nervous breakouts. Haha. Ling hui played. Qianwen was 2nd. Yiusum in the middle. Lanya 2nd last. Haha. See the connection?
Thurs 29/12
Had to go to koi pond there coz ks chee was occupied. We had some brief updates from the comm. Then xiaozu, lunch outside (was very fun! yiusum let us listen to yao zu wu qu! YAY), dazu...
Stations games! Yiusum and I were station masters! For the human chair game. Yup. It was v fun! But too bad we can't think of many bonus items. So we just told ppl to do the orchestra thing (chewmin was so FUNNY!!) and sing their own parts. We also asked ppl to run according to the beat. Overall we had fun lah. Haha. Had interactions with many people also. So far I think all groups succeeded in the game. Yayy! Of course with us as station masters. And YS bully me! Keep making me do the thing with the grp with 3 ppl. So evil. xp Haha.
Then there was the dressing comp where each grp had to dress one grp member into a christmas tree and relate and describe it to rgco. Haha. Some costumes were funny, some were cute, some were artistic. Haha. Shi jia was very cute. Linghui also. Esther's costume rocks man. So nice. Very creative. The ribbon in her hair. Joyce's one was v artistic. Haha. No wonder, Dorcas did the parts. Haha.
In the end, Shi Jia's grp emerged first overall. Congrats. They were really very enthu. That time we needed help with chairs they also came up and helped us set up the station by carrying chairs for us. Haha. Yup, it was a fun day!
Fri 29/12
CCAO! Went very very early to help YS with some parts, but in the end didn't really help much. I was way early for my shift. So Sherry asked me to station at the doors to zhao1 sheng1. Ask ppl to come in. Haha. The booth was very.. how to say.. re4 nao4? oh man I can't believe I'm talking in chinese now I can't find english words. Something's wrong with me.
Selene was so nice to help me make a personalised sticker saying "I am Huiwen. Chinese Orchestra" with a nicely drawn yq at the bottom. HAHA. Oh no where did it go.. Oh and I saw Wei Li too!! HAHA.
Then later we performed in the ks chee theatre at 11:10. Yup. Didn't get to wear full co uni coz some stuff were missing. Like not enough blazers and ties and all that. A lot of seniors were there watching. Haha. Zhaomeng rachel, minggy, yi fang and jia yan. Later we went back to the booth and played more songs. We even played xiao bai chuan. *_* Haha.
Wls is obssessed with daji I think. She keeps playing the small drum there. LOL.
Halfway crys came in while jiahui was in the midst of teaching me er hu.. Jiahui and me were making fun of her v cute hair. Then she went to play the "washboard" as so she speaks of the yangqin. Haha. So funny. After everything was over, jiahui even came over and tell me, "You die already! Got 2 v pro yq sec 1s! Gr 6 and 4 leh!!!". -____- How very encouraging. LOL.
After that went for lunch in canteen. Wasn't very enjoyable. Ah well. After lunch, we had hui bao in the classroom. So I didn't get to play yet. Jiaxi was so pro man. She can learn the song all by herself then play so nice somemore! Ahhh... So many pro ppl too. Like joyce also. Discussion! It was very fun. We were supposed to discuss about issues regarding tanbo. How to solve problems and how to bond better that kind of thing. So we came up with a tanbo blog! Click here. Yay. The blue layout rocks! Courtersy of YS and Nga Man. Then I was rather moody. So YS and lanya came up with "dianogsis" of my moodiness. Firstly, if I was moody for no reason then I am probably going through puberty.

If not, then it's elderly. Dots! HAHA. It was so funny man! There were other jokes too. Like tanbo-ma etc.
After the presentation of discussions, we all went back to ks chee for ppl like me who haven't hui bao yet (again). Dorcas went first. Then Shi jia. Then me. Eeks I think I screwed. Yeah I noe my tai feng sucks. Gahhs.
Nvm. Orchestral games! FUN FUN. The soccer thing was so shi bai. As in our grp didn't get a single goal. So we ended up losing with a score of 3-0. Haha. But nvm it was fun. Oh and through our random grpings, I found out there's this grp of ppl who watch Da Chang Jing, Full House, Wang Zi Bian Qing Wa and Love Story At Harvard!!! In other words, serials (korean mostly). Lingg, Yixin, Yihui! Haha.
After that came dragon game. It was basically very messy and fired up. Everyone was scrambling madly around. Lingg was very very VERYYY scary I tell u. She pulls ur shirt so violently until like I can feel it gonna rip off liddat. Aiyouu!!! HAHA. This in turn caused me to pull yi hui's pull over violently too. Eeks sorry. But anyway it was v fun. We got written on a bit. A bit only. Haha.
Overall jixun was very fun. And successful too, in bonding ppl together. The sec 1s'05 were very enthu. =D
